Dear Poet

Education project held every National Poetry Month that invites students in grades 5 to 12 to write letters responding to poems written and read by award-winning poets. Students or their teachers submit the letters, every student receives a general response from the poet and a certificate, and selected letters get a personalized reply. Submissions for 2026 are closed, and 2027 dates have not been posted.
