Luna Lab Fellowship

A tuition-free composition fellowship for female, nonbinary, and gender-nonconforming composers ages 13 to 18 who are U.S. residents. Six fellows a year receive one-on-one mentorship from October 1 through June 30, ending with a weeklong festival in New York City where their works are premiered. Applications open each year in late summer, and the 2026-27 window ran August 15 to September 15, 2026.

Tuition-free fellowship with no cash award stated. Travel costs for the New York City festival are not addressed on the page.
