Vermont Pitch Challenge

A free entrepreneurship competition from the University of Vermont for high school students in grades 10 to 12, competing solo or in teams of two or three. Entrants submit a business pitch as a written proposal, video or audio recording, and five finalist teams pitch in person in Vermont with financial assistance to attend. The 2026 challenge has closed, and the sponsor states that the 2027 competition opens in fall 2026.

Grand prize is a full tuition scholarship to the University of Vermont for each team member, contingent on admission. Second and third place teams receive $5,000 and fourth and fifth place teams receive $1,000.
