World History Association
International essay competition open to current K-12 students in public, private, and parochial schools and home-study programs, with no membership required. Students write an essay of about 1,000 words connecting a family story, cultural background, or issue of personal relevance to world history. The prize is $500 plus a one-year World History Association membership, and the 2027 deadline is to be announced by early November.
