Every open award your school has to nominate a student for, in one table. Each row has the sponsor deadline and the date to start the ask.
Nobody applies, so nobody sees the deadline coming. The student does not know the award exists. The nominator hears about it the week it closes. Two or three awards a year slip past most schools this way.
Put a short form or an announcement out by November. Ask who wants to be considered, and for what. Then you have names before the first ask-by date.
Each deadline is the one on the program page we link to. Ask-by is that date minus 21 days: time to pick a student, write, and clear your own internal steps. Open the program page before you commit a slot.
