How we collect, use, and protect your information
Last updated: June 9, 2026
When you submit an opportunity or contact us, we collect the information you provide directly: your name, email address, and the details of the opportunity or message. We do not collect payment information, government-issued IDs, or other sensitive personal data. Opportunity listings are stored in your browser's local storage; your name and email address are transmitted to our administrators for review.
We use the information you submit to review and publish opportunity listings, to reply to submission and contact inquiries, and to improve the platform. We do not sell personal information to third parties and we do not use your information for advertising.
Form submissions, contact messages, and anonymous tip / outcome reports are routed through Web3Forms, which delivers the content to our administrative email inbox. Submitted name, email, and message fields (where you provided them) are transmitted to Web3Forms for this purpose. If a JavaScript error occurs in the app, an automated error report containing the error message, stack trace, current page URL, and browser user-agent string is sent to the same maintainer inbox via Web3Forms — no personal data, profile information, or browser-storage contents are included. We load web fonts from Google Fonts; the provider may receive standard web log information (IP address, user agent) when font files are requested. We use Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-first service, to count aggregate page views (which pages are visited and basic browser type) so we know which free tools help students most; it sets no cookies, does not follow you across sites, and collects no personally identifiable information or browser-storage contents. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
Submitter names and email addresses are kept in our administrative mailbox for up to 24 months after the last interaction, then deleted. Approved opportunity listings are retained until the listed deadline passes or the opportunity is otherwise no longer relevant. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the email below.
All data transmission uses HTTPS. We apply standard web-security headers (CSP, HSTS, frame-denial) to reduce the risk of cross-site attacks. However, no system is perfectly secure; if you believe your data has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
This site is intended for Arizona students aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not submit a form or contact message; ask a parent or guardian to do so on your behalf. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, email us at the address below and we will delete it.
The platform sets no cookies of any kind — not for tracking, not for advertising, not for session management of regular visitors. We use browser local storage to remember your saved opportunities, saved searches, tracked applications, profile preferences, and (for authorized administrators only) a short-lived session token. The Document Vault feature stores any files you upload in your browser's IndexedDB; those files are never transmitted to a server. All of this on-device data stays in your browser and never leaves it. You can clear it at any time via your browser settings.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by emailing the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time frame and, where applicable, honor requests under COPPA, CCPA, and similar laws.
