What you'll need
An international physics competition organised by CERN for teams of high school students; teams need at least 5 members and an adult coach, and only students aged 16 or older can travel to the laboratory. Teams write a proposal for an experiment to run at a particle accelerator beamline, and the teams with the best proposals win a trip to a research laboratory to carry it out. Participation is free. Proposals for the 2027 edition can be submitted from December 2026, with a deadline in March 2027 on a date not yet posted.
