What you'll need
National civics contest, formerly the MyImpact Challenge, that recognizes students ages 13-19 who run a community-impact project rooted in civic values. Entrants submit a pitch video, impact summary, reflection essay, and project visuals; individuals or groups of up to five may enter. Grand prize $10,000, second $5,000, third $2,500, and up to nine $500 honorable mentions, one for each civic virtue. Open to US citizens or US-based students enrolled in middle or high school on January 1, 2027; past MyImpact grand, first, second, or third place winners are ineligible. Entries opened September 11, 2026 and close April 19, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
