City of Mesa Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities
The City of Mesa Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities department recruits volunteers for parks, recreation programs, sports, and community events through its online volunteer portal. Opportunities are explicitly categorized for youth ages 12-15 and 16+, so high-schoolers can participate. Volunteers earn community-service hours assisting with recreation programming and events.
