The MHA Foundation (Mogollon Health Alliance) invests approximately $20,000 each year into health occupation scholarships for students headed into health careers. Any individual currently attending school and/or working in Northern Gila County, or whose parents, grandparents or legal guardian reside in Gila County, may apply. The scholarship application cycle is January through March with scholarship awards paid in July. The 2026 application deadline was 5:00 PM on Friday, March 27, 2026, and the 2027 form is expected in January 2027. Individual award amounts are set by the Foundation budget committee.
