Music Teachers National Association
Student musicians compete in solo piano, piano duet, strings, or woodwinds, advancing from state to division to national rounds. Entrants register through a teacher who holds association membership and pay a per-entry fee. National placements and merit awards carry cash prizes, with extra prizes in piano.
