What you'll need
The Home Depot Foundation funds $2,500 scholarships, offered through SKILLED Nation, for students training in skilled trades such as carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing. High school seniors, graduates, and GED recipients who are at least 17 years old and are enrolled or planning to enroll in an approved trade program can apply if they are U.S. citizens or legal residents attending school in the U.S. The sponsor flyer lists deadlines of March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31, and the scholarship page currently shows December 31 as the deadline.
