Renewable $1,000 scholarships go to young American pianists who show a special affinity for the music of Chopin. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal residents aged 14 to 17 on May 15 of their first application year, and awards can be renewed for up to four years. Applications are available by January 1 each year and are due May 15, with a non-refundable $35 application fee.
