What you'll need
Annual video contest in which students in grades 6 to 12 and college make a film about a human rights issue. Entry is free through the contest listing on FilmFreeway, whose date panel shows the 2027 cycle open from October 1, 2026 to May 3, 2027; the sponsor website still shows only the closed 2026 cycle, so entrants should confirm the deadline on the listing before submitting. Finalists are invited to New York for a showcase held with the Tribeca Festival, and winners receive a certificate and prize package.
