What you'll need
An eight-week unpaid summer research internship at Stanford. High school juniors and seniors who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents work in mentored groups of two to five, about 20 to 30 hours a week, on projects spanning science, humanities, technology, engineering and math. There is a $95 application fee.
