Special Olympics
A school-based program in which students with and without intellectual disabilities play on Unified Sports teams together and lead inclusion campaigns and events at their school. Schools that meet ten standards of excellence earn national banner recognition. Students take part through a school that has joined the program, so ask a teacher or coach whether yours participates.
