Generally we receive your FAFSA a week or two after you have submitted it online. You must be admitted to CCC for us to receive your FAFSA information.

Check your financial aid status online at our by logging in to myCCC and then clicking Financial Aid > Eligibility. This page will show you documents that are needed from you.

About a week after you have completed your FAFSA, we will inform you (by mail and/or email) of the documents necessary to complete your file.
Verificación
We email students at their CCC student email address and send a secure link for students to view any documents needed to verify their file.

Cuándo: Students completing their FAFSA and turning in their required financial aid documents after the Priority 3 Deadline should expect the awarding process to take around 30 days.

Be sure to read all of the information on the Loan Request Form, complete entrance counseling and sign your Master Promissory Note online.

Financial Aid will first be used to pay tuition and fees and other allowable charges at CCC. Remaining money is refunded to the student.

Cuándo: After the first disbursement/ refund, disbursement/ refunding for eligible students occurs every Friday.
Students with a credit balance on their account (CCC owes them money) will typically see their refund issued on the first Friday after the credit balance is created.
