FCS coursework covers culinary, child development, fashion design, interior design, and consumer education — pathways that align with healthcare-adjacent, education, hospitality, and human services careers.
Stage 2 of 4
FCCLA combines competition + service. Power of One self-directed projects + STAR Events (Students Taking Action with Recognition) cover everything from Culinary Arts to Career Investigation to Public Policy Advocacy.
Stage 3 of 4
AZ summer programs aligned with FCCLA pathways: education internships, child development center placements, hospitality internships, culinary apprenticeships at AZ restaurants and resorts.
Stage 4 of 4
Senior year: applications to AZ programs in education (ASU Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, UA College of Education, NAU teaching), nursing/healthcare, hospitality (NAU School of Hotel & Restaurant Management), and human services.
